Release Sce™ is a cognitive formula. Its main purpose is to act as a natural selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI). WHAT MAKES THIS PRODUCT UNIQUE?
Our sceletium tortuosum extract tested up to 3900% stronger than our competitors and is primarily an excellent SRA (serotonin releasing agent), but also has SSRI activity. The releasing agents in sceletium tortuosum have shown to be extremely effective, balanced, and in harmony with natural neuronal function. The positive side is there are none of the harsh side-effects of chemical SSRIs.
Our trademarked sceletium tortuosum extract has been tested and the actives have been found to be the purest and strongest sceletium tortuosum in local and international sceletium products. The world’s greatest seller in sceletium products was tested at 0.8%, whereas our product tested at up to 3.5%. This makes our product more efficient, with a better ability as a substitute to chemical alternatives.

RELEASE SCE-JUNIOR™
In May 2019, pH7 Manufacturing (PTY) LTD released Release Sce-Junior™, a delicious, sweet syrup designed for children as young as 1 – 2 years old and effective enough for adults. Due to the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority, SAHPRA (formerly known as the Medicine Control Counsel) regulations, we had to take two key ingredients out of our formula for younger children, namely chromium picolinate and selenium. But in return we have added vitamin C to our new formula.
International studies on selenium and chromium picolinate show that it is safe to use on children. Certain ADD studies used up to 400mg chromium picolinate per day on boys as young as 7 years old, diagnosed with ADHD, with great success, although, for us to stay within regulations we had to keep to our recommended doses for registration reasons.
Both our Release Sce-Forte™ and Release Sce-Junior™ have been scheduled 0 which makes them safe and over-the-counter and health shop medication.

Sceletium extract is an effective natural selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) that effectively relieves the symptoms of stress, tension, anxiety and depression. It improves the cognitive function and enhances concentration and mental focus.
Chromium Nicotinate improves cognitive function and is an essential trace mineral that stabilizes the glucose in your brain which is important because glucose helps to fuel the brain.
Zinc picolinate helps improve memory and mood. It is also a potent antioxidant,
an anti-inflammatory as well as an immune enhancer. Zinc picolinate also increases serotonin uptake in some brain regions and improves spatial memory effect.
Selenium AAC is involved in the diverse functions of the brain including motor performance, coordination, memory and cognition. Among many other essential benefits, selenium AAC also stimulates and boosts the immune system.
Magnesium plays a role in over 300 enzymatic reactions within the body, including the transmission of nerve impulses. Magnesium deficiency is found more frequently in children with ADHD than in healthy children.
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue and the enzymatic production of certain neurotransmitters. It is required for the functioning of several enzymes and is important for immune system function.

WHY THE EXTRACT?
To receive the proper results from the sceletium tortuosum plant, we extract and standardize the alkaloids. We are the only company that uses these very pure and standardized sceletium tortuosum extractions with the combination of minerals and vitamin C.
Think of vitamin C and oranges. You need about 2000mg vitamin C per day to stay healthy and to maintain a strong immune sustem in the winter. One orange has 45mg of vitamin C, so you will need to eat about 44 oranges daily. That is simply impossible without feeling ill. You will need about 36 capsules of good quality sceletium tortuosum product with plant material to have the equivalent alkaloids of one of our capsules, this excludes the toxicity of high amounts of the plant material. This is why the extract is a much more efficient way of delivering the benefits of sceletium tortuosum to our clients.

SIDE EFFECTS OF RELEASE SCE™
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
There have been no confirmed reports of drug interactions. However, because of the neuro-receptor activities of sceletium tortuosum, there may be interactions with other pharmacokinetic drugs.
People taking any psychiatric drug (including all anti-anxiety drugs, sedatives, hypnotics, anti-depressants and anti-psychotics and so-called “designer” or recreational drugs) or any cardiac medications, are advised not to take sceletium tortuosum-containing products without their medical doctors assistance.
As with most supplements and modern drugs, safety in pregnancy for Release Sce™ has not been established.
